@VeroniqueB99 It is technically illegal (usually) to write on money. However, it's not worth govt's time to do anything about it unless it interferes with commerce or finance. And, it's almost impossible to catch. So go ahead. I not only strongly encourage this, but intend to participate as much as I can.

@VeroniqueB99 As the bills go through banks, they will be picked out for destruction & replacement due to the damage. That may make the protest less effective in the way that fewer people will see it, but it will cost the government alot of money to constantly replace those bills!
