#MeshCore on a #Linux phone. I wonder how much more niche it can possibly get. 😀

#Meshy #PostMarketOS

@sesivany is there a repository for it? It looks great. Can it work on Linux desktop too?
@pemensik yes, it can, it's a little project of mine: https://codeberg.org/sesivany/meshy

@sesivany I failed to build it on my machine. Meson+ninja doesn't produce any executable. What am I missing?
@pemensik did Meson give you any errors? I have to admit that at the moment I only target the GNOME 50-runtime based flatpak. So there might be dependencies which are satisfied by the GNOME SDK missing.
@sesivany nope, my build was successful, but made no binary. Maybe I miss some dependencies and it slipped the build?
@pemensik it could be, the Meson config is very barebone. I've focused on building it via flatpak manifest. It's what is part of my debug workflow. I'll take a look at building it outside flatpak, but I spent so much time on it over the weekend that I don't want to see it at least until tomorrow evening. 🙂
If you find time, please file a ticket, so that it's tracked:

@sesivany understood, no rush. My weekend hardware installation was not successful, have to focus on something else too. I am connected at work office only.
@pemensik I added error messages to the Meson in case there are some unsatisfied dependencies, but the app should compose with just the meson file, it installs the app into /usr/bin/meshy and /usr/share/meshy/.
