I don’t always go to Amsterdam, but when I do, it’s twice in a month.

My other half and I visited the third Indie Showcase (Indie Game Conference).

I love seeing game developers at work because their software is so different from web software, and they make beautiful works of art.

(Or in some cases, they turn an unpleasant personal event into a horror game… cheaper than a licensed therapist, I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️)

@mahryekuh you would have loved @kitation ‘s presentation at State of the Browser last month! They had a great talk intersecting game software development and accessibility. Insert the sound implied by this gif:

@Anneke @kitation Are you trying to give me FOMO? 🤣

(Also, it works, lol)

@mahryekuh @kitation well, you should follow Chad, maybe you can catch them at another event (or even help them to a speaking gig)! As for FOMO consider it revenge FOMO, would have been interested in your event! :)

@Anneke @kitation I instant-followed Chad after your first post. 😁

Let’s try to remind each other of these events next time. 🏃🏻‍♀️

@mahryekuh I’ve visited Control Conference / Dutch Game Day a couple of times and it’s very interesting! It doesn’t exist anymore but has been merged into Indigo which I plan on attending this year (I missed last year bc I didn’t know and DGD used to be later in the year so when I found out it was too late).
