seachangedFor me, carbonation is best part. Adding 40 grams of sugar to a gram of carbon dioxide and 350 grams of water is not an improvement.
Coke and Pepsi not even good for hydration, being hypertonic, with about three times the dissolved sugar of even an isotonic solution.
I just discarded five bottles of flat coke in plastic, from 2023, but I have truly enjoyed the opportunity to read the industrial history in these wikipedia articles:
