Why do race tracks never have potholes?

@SergKoren they do if they're used by the British Lawn Mower Racing Association:

The BLMRA is a friendly group of people who gather to race modified garden lawn mowers. Started in 1973.

@wordsmith Oh, I’m sure they exist. Buggy races, and such, but they are the exception when you want to go fast.
@SergKoren Not true. I was at a vintage motorcycle race a few years ago where they had orange cones around a pothole at the natural apex of a corner. I have actually had to drive around potholes at the same track.
@briansullivan I didn't say it was an absolute statement.
@SergKoren I thought "never" implied that.😃
