@jiub the front brakes will get more load while braking because the weight of the car shifts forward when you brake, so it's not completely unreasonable, but the contrast being so stark is funny
@tendstofortytwo true true, but i'm kind of surprised that such a large SUV that's ostensibly designed to carry heavy loads and do at least some towing would have such small rear brakes
a lot of newer cars have a brake balancing system where the rear brakes do more work than they used to especially for FWD cars. i guess this improves stability while braking. i was surprised on my car when the rear pads wore out much quicker than the front pads and it turns out it's because of this system
