Some white #crochet from our Festival ...
Does anybody know how this "wavy" technique (photo 3/4) was called/made:
edit: Image search showed me "Victorian hexagons". I found originals from the 1920/50s but it may be much older.

It almost looks like it could be a variation on a broomstick lace trick, to get the curls? It breaks my brain to think about adding another tool to my crochet projects. :)
