Embracing stability and security of our projects
Our projects always show their high quality and stability, because they’re battle tested with different conditions under consideration. Our applications currently use our libraries as part of their dependencies to ensure that this is possible. With that in mind, we are introducing a layer of stability and performance to our projects, which is a big plus. However, we think that improvements are needed to ensure that we embrace them, along with security, without compromising their quality overall.
We are introducing a few changes to our projects and how they’re produced to make sure that stability and security layers stay stable across all of them. Those changes will be done to make sure that we keep introducing high quality projects and their versions in all factors.
- The stability of our projects will be maintained by thoroughly testing them before each release to make sure that any last-minute bugs are fixed before the actual release.
- The security of our projects will be maintained by updating package dependencies and frameworks, while making appropriate changes to fix security bugs on our projects.
We are not only focusing on those two factors, but we are also trying to maintain the speed of our projects by introducing updates that either improve performance or replace slower algorithms with faster ones to ensure that we reduce the processing complexity when it comes to more complex functions.
The changes will be announced every time we make them to our projects, ensuring that we let developers and end-users know about those changes that may bring performance improvements, security enhancements, and other changes.
As a separate note, Aptivi Newsroom will be launched as early as April, which will be the main hub for project announcements and other Aptivi-related updates.
