I’m sure someone cleverer than me has come up with a term for debilitating dependence on #AI, but I’m not sure we’ve come to a consensus.
In the meantime, I’m going to refer to my work colleagues who copy+paste #ChatGPT into their emails and can no longer think without it as:
#AIdiots & #AIgnoramuses, exhibiting
#AIdiocy & #AIgnorance, and
are thus willfully #AIgnorant.

@VTDARKSIM I'd say a lot of people are just too lazy think past the ends of their noses. The sad part is that it started long before AI.

@countdracula oh for sure, shortsightedness has plagued us for quite some time. I’m frequently frustrated by this at work, even without the new #AIneptitude symptoms. I think it builds on the long-growing need for instant gratification, and I’m not sure how (if?) it can be resolved for the better.
