I also feel Meghe Dhaka Tara puts the lens on a very specific world which might not be easy to relate to outsiders (this includes non-bengali audiences in general)
Btw Titash Ekti Nadir Naam (is one of his most self indulgent work and on my watchlist)

Oh and apart from Mother India, you could add more of Dutt's filmography from back then as well. 😅
