Hebrew and Yiddish words have no standard spelling.

I'm going to use YIVO and Hebrew Academy transliterations, no matter how strange they may look, because they are "official."

For Pesah, I will forgo hamets and say HaMotsi over matsa instead of halla. I look forward to eating frishe kneydlekh. Hag sameah!

@kolev In our home we say “motzey” Because in London they say “motzoh” and in Manchester “matzey”. So it’s a compromise.
