Also, I've been sick with what I suspect is mono for months. My fever finally went away two weeks ago, and back on my feet. It *sucked*.

I will say that Greek healthcare was excellent throughout, although I am surprised they never ran a confirmation test to confirm mono. Still, way better than I ever experienced in the US, and proof that universal health care is a human right.

After all, if everyone has the same services, enlightened self-interest is going to keep the richer parts of society funding the healthcare system.

@ncommander mono is no joke, it was about 15-20 days for me. by far the worst illness I've ever had in my life, I seriously thought I was dying at several points

@astraleureka its the second time in my life I've had it, and it actually almost killed me the first time.

Second time was bad, but not QUITE as rough.
