New blog post! I threw together a little graphical script editing utility for the Magic School Lunar fan translation, which lets me visualize every line of dialogue as I write it in order to let me see how it'll look in-game. It all came together surprisingly quickly, and I'm happy how much easier this is going to make the script rewrites.

@misty it’s nice to know Tk is a viable option for something like this! I have fond memories of Tcl/Tk apps from the 90s, but for a long time it seemed horribly dated and I avoided it even though it has such good Python integration

@arjache It's definitely got its quirks; as you can see from those scrollbars, there are elements that will remind you it's not a native windowing toolkit. But I think it's good enough for what I'm doing and I'd definitely use it again.
