I don't think it's very common, but I do have one post from 2023 with 1.4K boosts. I did not expect it to resonate with so many people but I'm happy it did (for more awareness, not for popularity reasons)

Many folks don't know that people with certain disabilities (not me!) can ride bicycles. A lot of the discussion around encouraging bike riding excludes this group.

That happens to me, too, at times.

I've found that clicking on "open original page" (that's what the option's called on the web interface, not sure about apps) gives a more accurate number for boosts.

@Cassandra new versions of Mastodon sync these numbers nicely, but since ottawa.place still uses an older software version due to the Hometown fork it does not have this yet ;) @ahimsa_pdx @LoganFive
