@rho I ought to say here - I could be wrong.

On checking the Privacy & Security settings, it still seems to be possible to turn off location sharing on a per-app basis; and maybe that’s still honoured even if you can’t disable it in Screen Time.

If that is the case, it’s less catastrophic, though a deeply confusing bit of design - two different bits of UI covering the same subject and contradicting each other.

I need to do some experiments to check, I think.
