@jens #IETF self-hosted Forgejo instance for hosting WG drafts, when?
@chrysn I do that on codeberg, but self-hosted would be better for sure. Can't put time and energy into everything, though.
@jens @mcr314 I've started this too, but I think that by the letter, Codeberg only works only for drafts where all authors agree on a more permissive license than notewell'd, eg. https://codeberg.org/chrysn/packed-by-reference/src/branch/main/LICENSE.md
packed-by-reference/LICENSE.md at main

Codeberg.org
@chrysn @jens This is a criteria I hadn't considered. It doubles my belief that the IETF ought to run it's own gitlab.

@mcr314 @chrysn Or forgejo, which is what Codeberg runs.

OR, but that's probably just me, not submit actual drafts to IETF.

It's not that I have much against it. It's that it's not really the place for most of what I do, I found out.

In the end, it's currently a distraction that I don't need. Some day that may change again.

Of course that's not everybody's situation.
