France calls new Olympic gender testing 'backward step'

The IOC announced on Thursday that only 'biological females' will be allowed to compete in women's events, preventing transgender women from competing.

I was amazed to read the quote from Rowling in this article - she is still not contrite at all about her mistake over Imane Khelif's gender.
@GeofCox
Plus it's only women athletes. Don't men have genetic differences too.
@Christo_459 @GeofCox
Sure, but it wouldn't be proper misogyny unless it specifically hurt women and LGBTQIA folks.
@GeofCox who is France.
Never herd of them.

@GeofCox More people need to call out this primitive decision. Genetic testing proves nothing about a person's capabilities.

And with the IOC recently releasing their own study that proved trans women actually *underperform* against cis women, this decision of theirs is clearly just based in bias and bigotry and not science.
