It's a historic fantasy set immediately after Boudica's rebellion in Roman Britain. The ancient goddess responsible for shepherding lost souls to the beyond is accidentally made mortal and goes on a saga-like adventure with one of Boudica's daughters to reclaim her powers.
It's light reading, though has its darkness in places.
