I organize the information on my resume to target the position I want in a way that is most advantageous to _me_.

That's not lying.

That's synergizing my historical strengths with the target organizations current expectations. Assholes.

@401matthall I used to write and edit resumes as a side hustle. My number one piece of advice when targeting a career transition or a specific job posting: brainstorm every bullet you can think of for your current and past roles that are true…

And then only list the ones that sound like the job you want.

Hear, hear.

I always do targeted resumes. They're _exhausting_ to build but I _think_ they deliver more value.
