I wonder if #GitHub will become a ghost town at some point... I have my plans to move much of my stuff out this year, moving code to #Codeberg and web pages to an old shared hosting account I have. Let's see how it goes.
@villares I haven't heard of this before. I keep my user around with a place holder for my "pride and joy" as a pointer to the new migrated repo on Codeberg.
@mrbruno yeah, I was very surprised by this, I think I'll keep my user with the "villares" repo pointing to my stuff elsewhere!
@villares if you find (or produce) good tutorials along the way, do share!

@drScott for basic repo stuff, this seems to work: https://docs.codeberg.org/advanced/migrating-repos/

(I'm struggling a bit because I have too many repos and lots of webpages served from GitHub Pages + custom domain, that I need to figure out how to move)

@villares What made you choose Codeberg?
@sybren it is based on Forgejo, so a FLOSS stack, the org taking care of it seemed nice, and I saw people I like moving there too, that was the reasoning.
