This painting was made using 2 separate photos as reference photos. In the original photo, the grandmother was not holding the baby, and I drew the baby being held by their mom from a more recently taken photo. It is my first piece of #portrait #art in many many months and I was worried if I'd lost my touch and might be a bit rusty but I am very pleased with how it came out.
