Make your Mountain Maryland Voices heard!! Meet us at the Oakland Town Parking at 9:45 AM before we march up together to the corners of Rt. 219 and Oak Street at 10:00 AM. Please bring signs and noise makers and be prepared to join in chants and songs. We We are asking that everyone be respectful with their language in chants, signs, and interactions with others. Also, there should be no engagement with counter-protesters other than a smile and “Have a Nice Day!” Safety is out paramount concern! This is a non-violent protest. Please bring a chair if you would like to sit, dress accordingly to the weather, and stay hydrated. After the protest, participants will be invited to a Drum Circle in town and an Overpass Protest later in the afternoon.
