We all assumed the internet meant we could keep watching everything forever. We were wrong

We have too many streaming services with a million things to watch except for anything you actually want to watch

@firstdogonthemoon I could save money by just buying a bunch of DVDs from charity shops each month, but here I am subscribing to 2 streaming services as they have what I want to watch.

My DVD/BluRay collection continues to grow by the week, thanks to regular op-shop (aka charity shop) trawling.

Mainly for older classic movies, many of which were on one streaming sub service or another at some point, but then mostly mysteriously disappeared...

@imalcolm I do have a look for any I'd really like, but it's rare that I re-watch stuff these days. I did get a box set of Game of Thrones from a charity shop as I could not watch it without another subscription.
