@naituw Thank you so much for this wonderful update!! I love and use your app all the time. Is it possible to shoot Apple Log or are there no APIs for that?

@andguz @andguz So glad you're enjoying the update! I believe the API for Apple Log does exist, but I don't have much experience with this color space yet. Would you mind sharing a bit about your expected workflow for Apple Log spatial videos? I'd love to learn more about how you plan to process it so I can make sure I implement it the right way!

@naituw I use Spatialify in HDR (HLG) with ACES color management in DaVinci Resolve. My A-cam (Canon C50/R5C) IDT is Canon Log 2. The B-cam (iPhone 17 Pro) IDT is HLG — this approximates but doesn’t match Canon Log’s color thru ACES (HLG is a delivery format, not a capture one). Ideally I’d use an official Apple Log/Log 2 IDT for proper ACES mapping. After IDTs, I color correct, match sources, grade, then output via standard ODTs (Rec.709, PQ, or HLG.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​).

@andguz Wow, thanks for the detailed explanation! I never expected Spatialify to be part of such a pro workflow. I will do some research and try to support this in a future release!
