As far as I'm concerned, you have three options:

1. Not watch the new Harry Potter.

2. Watch the new Harry Potter but shut up about it.

3. Admit to watching the new Harry Potter and be judged.

There is no fourth option. I think you should do number 1, but you're a grownup and I don't have access to your router, so it's not up to me. But understand that if you do watch it, you need to either shut the hell up or brace yourself. Because I am not here to make you feel ok about it.

None of the above should be taken to mean I think it's ok to "secretly" watch the new Harry Potter series.

What I am saying is that should you decide to materially support anti-trans causes by watching the new Harry Potter series, you should not bother trying to make a case for why it's all right to do so.

@maxleibman I believe nobody should watch it, even though people whom I considered to be some of my favorite actors in the past are in it. They are dead to me now. 😡
