When I got my first job, I started getting phone calls from customers saying they hadn't received their orders for sometimes months.

Turned out my predecessor had been stuffing the orders in a drawer for some reason and not processing them.

Perhaps you situation is the digital equivalent. 😂

@BobWilliams My first thought is that it somehow got put in a virtual queue, until some other jobs had run and then this is just the natural result of that. I'm not thinking about it too much, just thought it was funny.

Also, that sounds like an unfortunate way to go into your first job. My God, the laziness of some people hurts everyone down the line. Then again, you must have looked like a star in comparison to them, because you're a star in general, Bob.
