First, yes, someone on Reddit made this with AI. The video's message is still valid. How it was made is more irony than anything.

The theme is based in the '90s and they're looking to the Future. They're looking at things that are just foreign concepts to them and I find that interesting and find myself reflecting on that.

I'm a '80s Gen X kid, and this video is more targeted toward millennials, but the point that this video makes is spot on.

@matthartley "stay out until the street lights come on" feels a lot more 80s than 90s to me.

i was already spending my evenings staring at a 386 most evenings by the early 90s.

@deobald Same. But, I checked with someone from the 90s era apparently they too, did it. Last generation I guess.
@matthartley @deobald 90’s kid! Yes we did! We also weren’t allowed inside in the summer and drank water out of the garden hose.
@erin yay! :) sadly, by the 90s i had already turned into this guy
@deobald haha. I definitely used a computer in the 90s as well, just spent the majority of time outside. In the very late 90s I tried to transfer the internet to my computer via floppy disk 💾 (hint: it didn’t work)
