I can't read german, I assume it says nice things.

@stbc @grumpygamer and you "slashdotted" the page ;)

@stbc @grumpygamer and you got to laugh.

You have to laugh, or else!

@stbc @grumpygamer They already did. I watched the play years ago, also in Halle. They just show it again.
@ratking @stbc @grumpygamer due to popular demand, I want to add!
@grumpygamer
Omg this sounds awesome!

@grumpygamer

I already bought tickets. Hope to see you there!

@grumpygamer Nice, it's about a stage play for monkey island. I have s ticket for that already since last year.
@grumpygamer my dad introduced me to MI. so excited to return the favor and introduce him to that play in April 😸✌️

@grumpygamer

Well the photo of the actor that plays guybrush is fun - the wig is absolutly posh ! X´-D Looks like fun - and hey they have Le Chuck and Stan there , too! true love !

@grumpygamer it says nice things 🙂 it is a recording of an interview with a director who brings Monkey Island (the second time) onto a theatre stage including a live piano player who provides ambient music. This is apparently real fun, because it is the second time on stage (first time was 10 years ago)

@grumpygamer the text introduces an interview.

The play was first shown 10 years ago, now they re-do it. 14 people on stage.

In the interview we get to know that the people behind the play couldn't get hold of the rights holder of the original soundtrack. Maybe you know more? Anyways, they have someone playing a piano live.

Furthermore we learn that they had to rebuild more than 100 props (chests, grog mugs, red herring etc.). This time the props are larger as the new stage is larger, too.

@grumpygamer haha nice! I would hope they use Boris' translations as baseline (I believe his role in making Lucaafilm adventures this popular in Germany can't be overstated), but of course priority is what works best on stage.
@grumpygamer Seen it 10 years ago. It was awesome.

@grumpygamer It says: (summary)

"In mid-April, Monkey Island is coming to Halle—not as a video game, but as a stage play at the Steintor Varieté titled “Monkey Island: I Want to Be a Pirate.”

😆 Great Performance, I guess.
