Nigel Wadsworth@marcoarment The availability and pricing for Windows devices in the past few weeks will dramatically increase demand for Macintosh (which will mess those shipping estimates up).
In my sector (K-12 edu) our student devices have jumped 30% this year *so far*, and will keep going up. And delays are blowing out because schools and systems are ordering now well in advance of our 2027 school year. Just to beat the price rises.
It's a disaster, and that's just because of AI, not even considering the oil mess.

@marcoarment Man, I really want one, too. A new Mac Mini, Ironically, I want it for Windows *and* Mac. Because I am tired of using this laptop...and just want both things on one system and able to run them at the same time. I imagine it will be interesting having to run a screen reader for Windows and VoiceOver on the Mac side, but it must be doable, enough people I listen to have managed it, Somehow.
