Ooooh. Now, that I've convinced the Domestic Department of Internal Affairs (DDIA) of roof top solar to be a good idea, this site doesn't work any more:

Any suggestions on what other resources for input on planning/decision making would be suitable?

I'd think we'd start with a set of panels up front, and in future years add battery storage later on (to make it more manageable from a financial perspective).

@phlogiston I do this sort of thing for people from time to time. What I like to do is start with a load profile to establish demand, because a lot of them are looking at off-grid systems. You're grid-tied so demand's not the driver. So we look at what sort of supply is realistic.

What does your roof look like and are there any trees or other buildings close by in the E,N,W quadrants?
