See also: “moron” and “imbecile”. These were all terms used to classify degrees/types of learning disability. So, btw, was “idiot”, so that’s problematic in itself. The left is very fond of using these slurs against MAGA types, and not very fond of having its ableism challenged.

I’m not tremendously interested in liberation that trampled over disabled people.

@punishmenthurts I'd grant you "normal", and if that makes you feel bad you now understand why I hate most people.

But not intelligent.

Although now I question whether that metric in itself is ablist.

I think “intelligence,” means whatever you prioritize. The power’s “intelligence,” is to dominate, strength and power, whoever wins a fight is the “most intelligent.”

They can burn all the books and tell themselves they’re “more intelligent,” than the “stupid scientists.” Words mean nothing to people. 😠💜

I’m not sure that, “No, YOU are R-worded,” is so wrong. “Retarded,” seems to describe the experience of running into another neurotype’s apparent or real failings. I’d prefer we hurl it at each other than that it’s not allowed but it means us.
