Hey, you know, we really picked a great time to isolate ourselves from Europe, huh?
There is never a good time for such a thing. But who could have predicted that everything was going to slide downhill globally so dramatically from 2016 onwards?
@brembs Ten years ago today, Barack Obama was US president and the UK was a full member of the European Union, Single Market and Customs Union and looked like staying that way.
We went down the wrong leg of the trousers of time.
