This guy is crawling your posts to add them to an LLM. It didn’t even occur to him to make the bot check for an opt-in. It’s purely extractive, and he’s mad that you don’t want to supply his bot with content.

Practically? I can’t think of anything. Like, a web browser extension could just crawl around the Fedi and it wouldn’t look different than a person.

The biggest defense is the bizarre, cocksure pride these dudes have, where they think everyone will welcome them. But surely, some of them know to keep their traps shut.
