Janek @ IndieDev.siteTried to install DaVinci Resolve on Debian today. Failed miserably. Many additional steps were needed.
Their Linux support is a workaround sitting on a workaround it seems. Naturally, the community came up with more workarounds to fix these initial workarounds.
I also tried installing Capcut in Wine before but let's just say this also isn't a very straightforward process.
I suppose I'll just stick to Kdenlive. Lacks modern hip features but it just works.
