I was told recently that being trans is so "cool". Being transgender is not cool.
We face discrimination.
Our rights are being taken away.
We struggle to get work.
Places are banning us.
Our lives are at risk.

Speaking for myself I chose to be brave and be exactly me but by doing so I face so much pain and sometimes life just seems so hopeless.
