@rms In the US, the most infamously dangerous vehicle ever sold to the public was the Ford Pinto hatchback. Yet over 10 years and 3M units, Pinto only killed 27 people. CT's present rate of 14.5 fatalities / 100K units is 17 TIMES *HIGHER* than Pinto's. Where is the public outcry? This is far and away the deadliest vehicle ever to hit America's roads, yet it's still being sold.

@kristen_d The extremely sad thing is I'm NOT surprised, for exactly the reasons you say. But it sure is a really bad look for us. That dumpster is already banned in countries better and smarter than ours.
