The long journey to Saarbrucken for @revisionparty from NZ begins. Stunning dawn as I headed to the airport.
I’m stopping briefly in Singapore, then a week in Iceland before heading to Germany.

After a few hours wandering around Gardens at the Bay and Marina Sands in 37C sunny weather, a much needed beer at what is apparently the world’s highest urban brewery (top floor of Marina Bay Financial Tower 1). This is the view from my table on the balcony. Rather nice.
The beer selection is limited but the wheat beer I’m having is decent.
Landed in Manchester where it is, of course, grey and drizzly. But my heart melted after some quality bants with staff as I found my way through to the lounge before my next flight to Iceland. It’s always funny to be back in the UK and be reminded that yeah, this - these people, this culture - is me. I miss it. The grim weather, not so much.
Am now in Reykjavík for a week which is all snowy and frickin awesome. Fargo is one of my fave movies and the opening shot is the all time greatest imo.
I feel a moral obligation as a follower of Dudeism to spend some time at the Lebowski Bar in Reykjavík. It’s pretty epic.
As I was flipping through the food and beverages menu I was confused to see a White Russian was missing from the cocktail list. Then I turned the page.
Naturally I’m sitting at the Dude’s spot at the bar.
Am surprised they don’t have a Big Lebowski pin. Gave me an excuse to show off a photo of mine :)
Quite chilly in Reykjavík today :)
