And now for a much more complicated test. #3d
@revk @LovesTha @flangey That's a scary print, hope it worked out.
@tripplehelix @LovesTha @flangey close. May try again.

@tripplehelix @LovesTha @flangey I'm going to try the print again.

I checked the Z-axis and it was juddering again, so did a few up/down and it seems clear. So this issue is not completely clear, which is annoying.

I'll how this print goes - more supports...

@revk @LovesTha @flangey Maybe contact the manufacturer? It may be a defect.

@tripplehelix @LovesTha @flangey Or just order a new one and keep this for spare parts - but that is a tad wasteful, I know.

I have contacted them though.

@revk @LovesTha @flangey

Could be a good idea if you have the money. The print head and vat's are always useful and the cover if you ever crack it.

@tripplehelix @LovesTha @flangey Quite, the logic is simple, there will be bits that can break, and a set of spare parts of all except the z-axis motor, is not a stupid thing to have. No need for UV or air filter or more resin, just the main unit.

I'll see what they say.

I'll also do the up/down to clear issue and see if it gradually gets better over time, who knows.

@revk @LovesTha @flangey What air filter do you use? I got mine before they started adding them. I use a series of fans to force air out the window. Makes the pressure in the room get so low my ears pop lol.

@tripplehelix @LovesTha @flangey I got their one, bolts on the back, pretty nice, and quite quiet.

Also water based resin so not too bad. Should I dare go to the ABS like at some point?
