@lhspodcast did you explore if FT2 is (still) in breach of the #GPL? Last time I heard, source code was not being distributed for it whilst binaries were, and since it's based on WSJT-X, unless something has changed, it's my understanding that's in violation of the GPL under which that is published.
@vk6flab It appears to all be in github in the Decodium repo? I mean if we want to get into this discussion, WSJT-X has had its own share of issues in this area if you follow the mailing list bickering between author and trying to prevent derivative works on intermediate builds.
@lhspodcast that's welcome news to me. Last time I heard the FT2 author was objecting to the notion of releasing the source. There was a discussion here about it. If I can find it, I'll share the link.

#FT2, "the fastest mode" is currently only available on Windows and there is no source code. It should not be in our bands like that.

@vk6flab this must be fluid, because I made two contacts yesterday on my Omarchy test box.
@lhspodcast now you know why I was surprised by your post 😁
@vk6flab having read that 4 week old thread, I can see several of the concerns were handled before I explored it. Thanks for the history on it!
