I loathe barrages. They’re good for two things:

locking out an objective for X amoumt of time while not actually achieving much of value
killing squaddies because you can’t be bothered checking who is in the blast radius

Barrages will miss every bot fabricator while somehpw fragging all 4 of you with laser precision.
