we seem to have the option for fibre now to our house. Any UK folk have recommend or avoid for providers?

@CTD It's a very area-specific thing, imo. Either you get good service or you don't, and there doesn't ever seem to be a middleground!
I've been on "Virgin" since the area was "Cable"d by what was Nynex in the early 90s.
Though it's not "to the door", it's been pretty much perfect for me.
Other people, even local, have had horror stories!!!

A&A are very good if you need their very niche level of service, otherwise they're quite expensive (one might say reassuringly so 😉)
