We had the first unnamed storm of the year last night, so in lieu of any official I am going to call it Gertrude on the grounds that it’s a name that has fallen into disuse & needs a bit of publicity!

Off to do some clearing up at my MiL’s house this morning, the trip there & back could be fun as the weather is still a little fiesty & we are crossing thre moors which always exposes one to best the British weather can throw at one!

Morning Squerl 👋😃.
I only went & slept through my frelling alarm 🤣. This is an alarm that uses light & sound. With my paper thin eyelids should have woken me up 🤷

I think I may need to find an alarm for deaf people or a proper daylight alarm that's not limited by the phone screen 🤦.

Right, morning cancelled... So... When does brunch arrive?

I’ve gone the other way, I have a quiet but persistent alarm set, it breaks thru eventually.

but people would wake him when the fire alarm went off.

I had one for a while, it used light but also a buzzer that went under your pillow to vibrate you awake.
Worked a treat but broke it as finding the fiddly switch to cancel the alarm was a hassle.

I might see if I can find something similar but with a sensible alarm Off button.
Alternatively, a proper light alarm should work but they're pricy, last time I checked.
