There was some sun trying & succeeding to out compete my sunrise alarm for brightness around the blackout curtain 😆. Alas,it's gone behind some clouds now, or found it's own very effective dimmer switch.

I think we can stretch to a full English at Tiffany's, that's Tiffany Aching's, not the place with the posh stained glass lamps.

Blackout curtains probably work a treat if you can hang them properly. Mine have entirely too much gap between the edge of blackout layer & the edge of window. Only evident when daylight shows up before I get up 🤦.
I've got a roll of supposedly blackout privacy screen I've been meaning to stick up in the window for the past 7 or so months 😂. I'll get there one day.

Blackout curtains might be the way forward. Or those shutters you can get now.
