The new chair of the UK's "Equalities and Human Rights Commission" has been meeting anti transgender organizations. There is a good story here for any journalist willing to do a bit of work digging. The other story here, that's harder to tell, is the way "normative" ie "ordinary" people indulge in extremism, despite their apparently reasonable qualities more broadly. Extremism doesn't always look like Donald Trump or The Nazis. It mostly comes in the form of "reasonable" people, who have convinced themselves they don't have prejudices.
