Does anyone in #Wellington have a spare #Cherry #Brown switch plus "fly-out menu" keycap? Or blank #keycap, also fine I guess 😬
@Firesphere I've got some brown Kailh switches and plain key caps in a small selection of colours + transparent if that helps?
@oseiler Hmm, it might work, it is mostly for show, because it's a key I barely use... I now have a hole in my keyboard, so that's basically what I want to fill up without it looking too bad...
I'll get a photo of the pin structure to compare tomorrow when it's not dark in my room 😆

@Firesphere
This is what I have (MX compatible). Not sure how many and what colours.

Fwiw, you could also 3d print a cap if it's not critical, plenty of models around

Translucent Keycaps for MX Compatible Switches - 10 pack

Get ready to clacky to your heart's content. Here is a 10 pack of translucent keycaps for your next mechanical keyboard or NeoKey project. Snap 'em onto a Cherry MX or ...

@oseiler Yeah, it's the switch itself that's the important part. I don't mind buying them myself. But I do mind buying 68 when I only need one.
Clear cap I can easily make black, or 3D print one in the library indeed, though it's probably not as smooth as the rest of the DAS keyboard keys...
@Firesphere digikey has a great variety of switches and I could include some other things to get to free shipping if you can find what your need. Just note that'd they seem to have some short delays now compared to their previous record fast turn-around times
