Courage.

Friedrich Christoph Dahlmann was a Göttingen professor and a "founding father" of German parliamentarianism. In 1837, he led the Göttingen Seven - a group of professors who risked their careers to protest King Ernst August’s constitutional violations. His bronze statue now is the central part of a #monument and stands before the #LowerSaxony State Parliament in #Hannover, symbolizing the transition from academia to principled political action.

And just in case: Zine permission granted.
This Parliament also includes members of the AfD, with their bizarre understanding of democracy and their belief that they can win over citizens with supposedly simple, populist ideas.

I hope that more people will ask themselves what a parliament and a democracy are, and understand the importance of standing up for them. Not just in Hannover, Lower Saxony, Germany, or Europe - but all over the world.
