@mwb fair it just reads a bit long-winded when I read it inside the Python code.
@gaborbernat it is still one character less than “requests”, “ niquests”, and the same as “aiohttp” and “urllib3” :-)
I do agree that it can be worse, but I think it's not even the fact that it is the length that bothers me as much as the lack of vowels, especially considering that HTTP is already a long abstraction. Adding a few more on the end of it feels difficult to read in my mind.
