Why I forked httpx - the popular python package:

I forked the python library httpx to httpxyz after over a year without a release of this popular package

@mwb httpo or httpxo perhaps better name?

@gaborbernat or httpxoxo ? I don’t know. It is httpxyz for now! I got the domain name and all: https://httpxyz.org

The friendly fork of a next-generation HTTP client for Python.

@mwb fair it just reads a bit long-winded when I read it inside the Python code.

@gaborbernat it is still one character less than “requests”, “ niquests”, and the same as “aiohttp” and “urllib3” :-)
