Favorite mobile mastodon feature: I hit reply, type a lot, scroll back to read something in what I am replying to, and OOPS you scrolled too far, reload page! Fuck your reply!
@jwz We have AI now because we didn't go full Butlerian Jihad on Helpy Helperton features like this when they first started showing up.
@jwz Phanpy lets you pop your draft off into a separate screen so you can do what you're trying to do.

@jwz @lisamelton

The joy of using Ivory is half the reason I check Mastodon every day.

@jwz

Surprisingly, the + button has your reply draft, lets you resume.

@albertcardona Does not. Just tried it.

@jwz

Apologies, I use mastodon from the browser on mobile, which does (I have just tried it). I assume it's the app that doesn't, but don't know.

@jwz

This seems to be a thing, most apps do this, but I think the person who decided "scroll up to refresh" should be beaten and tied to the person who decided "double clicking a video makes it full screen" and make them fight to the death.

@jwz wow that sucks. I use @IceCubesApp on my iphone.
@jwz Browser or app? In my browser, I get a dialog asking if I have saved my work when I hit reload with something in the edit box.
@nafmo Browser on mobile. Hit reply. Type stuff. Scroll back too far. Page reloads. Text gone. Hit reply again. Still gone.
