@sasanb @stufromoz but they’ve pretty much always been this. Originally protectionist AF, they were the ones who started concentration camps for immigrants in the 80s and 90s, and the never settle if you arrive by boat nonsense in 2010/13

@stufromoz @franksting @sasanb I say it a lot and it upsets the party faithful, but Labor are at best a centre-right party.

The Liberal party have an equally-silly self-image as centre-right when they are just plain right-wing.

@200ok @stufromoz @franksting I was under no illusions, but at least I consideted them as reasonable. With Chris Minns and now Albo, I see they can be more extreme than Liberals.
